The Vietnamese team performed the song “Cay Truc Xinh” (Little Bamboo) at the opening ceremony and will give a separate performance and two joint ones during the weeklong festival.

The festival is jointly held by the Chinese Culture Ministry, the traditional music academy and the national theatre with the aim of preserving and promoting folk music of nations across the globe.
