This is the first time the country participates in the world’s large contest held annually to select the best male and female models.

Thuy Huong has been thoroughly trained in posing before cameras, presenting on the catwalk and many other skills to compete in many parts of the event.

"I don’t expect to win high prizes, but I will try to introduce Vietnam’s models and fashion industry via the competition," said the Vietnamese model. "I have prepared carefully and comprehensively for the contest over the past year to become a true representative of Vietnam at the contest of world stature."

Born in 1986, Thuy Huong now studies business administration at Hanoi University while working as an exclusive model for a Vietnamese fashion company. She is 1.79 m high with vital statistics of 81-62-93.
