The week is aimed at promoting cultural, scientific and technological co-operative relations among French speaking countries.
As part of the framework of the cultural week of Francophone countries organised in Mexico, Vietnamese embassy together with diplomatic agencies of France, Algeria, Egypt and Lebanon joined a food and music gala night with traditional dishes and folk songs.
During the week, Vietnamese films such as “Pao’s Story” (Chuyen cua Pao), Destiny (Sinh menh) and “Living in Fear” (Song trong so hai) with French subtitles were screened in Mexico City. They attracted hundreds of viewers, including students who are studying French and overseas Vietnamese people.
