A Vietnamese delegation led by head of the cinematography department Lai Van Sinh left Vietnam for Japan on September 14 to attend the 16th Fukuoka International Film Festival.

Vietnam sent two films to the festival, namely Song trong so hai (Living in fears) directed by Bui Thac Chuyen and Chuyen cua Pao (Pao’s story) directed by Ngo Quang Hai.

The festival, which is being held in Japan from September 15-24, has attracted around 24 entries from Asian countries.

The two Vietnamese films will debut in Japan on September 17, 20 and 23.
