Seven Vietnamese documentaries will attend the 16th Asian film festival in the French city of Vesoul as of January 26.

The Vietnamese entries to the oldest Asian film festival in Europe include “Ban toi” (My friend) by Director Trinh Le Van, “Chi Dung” ( Ms Dung) by Dao Ba Son, “Chu be cu ly” (Coolie boy) by Pham Nhue Giang, “Hanoi co cau Long Bien” (Hanoi’s Long Bien bridge) by Pham Cuong, “Khoc muon” (Hired cry), “Nguoi o tran” (Unclothed person) by Phuong Lan, and “Thay Duc” ( Teacher Duc) by Nguyen Trinh Thi.

In the programme “Human and Nature”, two Vietnamese films are selected to introduce, namely “Nhung nguoi tho xe” (Sawers) and “Mua len trau” (The buffalo boy).

The festival is scheduled to end on February 2.
