The seminar was jointly held by the Teachers' Collage of Hanoi National University and the Japanese Educational Association.

The participants, who come from colleges and high schools, discussed matters relating to the educational systems in the two countries including democracy in schools, pedagogic method, violence prevention at school and families, and education for children under special circumstances. They agreed that these matters constitute an important role in building up a healthy educational environment.

Japanese teachers spoke of their teaching experiences and the differences between educational systems of the two countries.
