The agreement is aimed at developing and strengthening friendship between the two countries as well as making both peoples aware of each other’s life, traditional customs and culture.

It also covers co-operation in both culture and arts including academic pursuits, sport and youth activities, journalism, radio and television activities.

The agreement was signed by Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam, EphraimBen Matityau, and Vietnamese Deputy Culture and Information Minister Do Quy Doan.
