A classical music programme entitled “Vietnam Airlines Classics 2008” will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 23 boys from the famous Vienna Boys’ Choir, Vietnam Airlines announced at a press briefing on September 30.
According to Pham Ngoc Minh, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, this will become Vietnam Airlines’ annual event, aiming to promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and other countries across the world.
In this year’s programme, 23 boys aged between 9 and 14, under the baton of conductor Cagnin Manolo, will sing well-known Austrian songs in Hanoi on October 1 and in Ho Chi Minh City on October 4.
Significantly, Vietnam Airlines plans to organise research and promotion activities to advertise the image of south central Khanh Hoa province to more than 100 business partners from Japan and the Republic of Korea during the boys’ tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
