US publishing house McGraw-Hill Professional Education (MHPE) has displayed its first Vietnamese language publications in Ho Chi Minh City.

The MHPE series comprises 28 mini handbooks based on McGraw-Hill best-sellers that come with step-by-step lessons focusing on each book’s main topic.

They are designed with busy executives in mind and ideal for readers who are constantly on the move.

The series has sold more than 500,000 copies world-wide in English and has been translated into several Asian languages including Chinese, Japanese, Malay and Thai.

The Vietnamese version was published through McGraw-Hill’s co-operation with the HCM City General Publishing House and HCM City Book Distribution Corporation.

McGraw-Hill’s managing director for Asia, Jacob Gan, said: “With Vietnam joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) and being one of the fastest growing economies in Asia, it has become critical for McGraw-Hill to expand its business activities in Vietnam ”.
