Students majoring in natural science, medicine, technology and environment in some Vietnamese universities will be taught directly or remotely by US professors from July 2008.

The teaching programme will start in the autumn of 2008 and end in 2009.

VEF said it aims to increase the ability of Vietnamese institutes and universities to train talents for scientific and technological industry, while strengthening the cooperative relations between US and Vietnamese education systems.

US professors who take part in the programme must propose a curriculum for one Vietnamese university to VEF. All the costs will be covered by VEF and US universities.
