An exhibition entitled “Uncle Ho with overseas Vietnamese” opened in Ho Chi Minh City on January 31 to mark the 78th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3) and the 39th anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh sending his last letter to overseas Vietnamese (January 27).

More than 160 photos and documents featuring the late President Ho Chi Minh’s feelings for overseas Vietnamese as well as the respect of overseas Vietnamese for Uncle Ho are on display at the Uncle Ho Commemorative House, Nha Rong Wharf. They demonstrate Ho Chi Minh’s valuable thoughts and the Party and State’s policies for overseas Vietnamese as well as acknowledging their contributions to the country’s renewal process.


On the occasion, the city’s Ho Chi Minh Museum introduced three collections, comprising of 102 works of art featuring the artists love for Uncle Ho and the homeland. It also displayed a “Vietnam landscape” collection comprising of 53 photos taken by saigonphoto.net.
