A famous UK ballet troupe will pay their first visit to Vietnam to perform and give guidance to Vietnamese dancers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

On September 19, they will present “Vue de l’Autre”, directed by Vietnamese choreographer Le Ngoc Van, who was born in Hanoi and joined the troupe in 2003.

Director of the British Council in Vietnam, Robin Rickard said that the visit of one of the world’s leading ballet troupes to Vietnam represents a historic occasion. As well as giving fabulous performances, they will be able to share their experiences with their Vietnamese partners, he added.

The troupe will also conduct seminars to improve the qualification for dancers of the Vietnam Opera-Ballet Theatre and the Vietnam College of Dance on September 13 and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera, Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Theatre and the Ho Chi Minh City College of Dance on September 16.
