Vietnam’s U22 squad is training hard for the Asian U22 qualifying round in Myanmar scheduled for late June.

Led by chief coach Lu Dinh Tuan, the team aims to earn a ticket to the final round of the 2013 Asian U22 tournament.

The squad lineup includes two overseas Vietnamese, namely Mac Hong Quan and Nguyen Thanh Giang from Germany and the Czech Republic, respectively.

In their upcoming matches, Vietnam will play in Group G against rivals from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Malaysia, Taiwan (China), the Philippines, and host Myanmar.

According to coach Lu Dinh Tuan, the RoK is likely to take a berth to the final round, and another ticket will belong to one of the three remaining team - Vietnam, Malaysia and Myanmar – which gets the glory.
