Two students, Phan Anh Vu from the Ho Chi Minh University of Technique and Ngo Chi Le from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University have been selected as Vietnamese representatives among 45 ambassadors for the environment coming from 16 countries who will join an environmental survey tour in Germany, slated for November 5-10.

Their entries were considered the best at a recent environmental writing contest, as part of the 2006 Bayer Ambassador for the Environment Programme which was launched by Bayer Vietnam in co-ordination with the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the German Technical Cooperation Organisation (GTZ).

The contest received 250 entries from 54 colleges and universities throughout the country from which the organisation board selected 20 best ones whose authors were recognised as Bayer ambassadors for the environment in Vietnam.
