The contestants include 12 feature films and 20 movie films.

Among the features are Gio Thien Duong (Wind from Heaven) of Giai Phong Studio, Duong Thu, Giai Phong Sai Gon (Liberate Sai Gon), Nam Ngay Trong Doi Cua Mot Vi Tuong (Five Days of a General Life), Di Trong Giac Ngu (Walking in Dreams) and Co Mot Chuyen Di (A Journey) of Vietnam Film Studio, Song Trong So Hai (Live in Fear), Cau Ong Tuong (Elephant Bridge), Hai Quy (Sea Anemone), Chuyen Cua Pao (A Story of Pao), of Film Studio No1, Hai Trong Mot (Two in One) of Thien Ngan Studio, and De Muon (Hired Pregnancy) of Phuoc Sang Studio.

Among the 20 movies, there are eight TV serials, including Dola Trang (White Dollar), Kinh Van Hoa (Kaleidoscope), Duoi Co Dai Nghia (Under the Banner of Justice), Dong Song Phang Lang (A Quiet River), Tin Hieu Bong Sen No (Signal of Lotus Blooming), Mien Doi Am Ap (On the Warm Hillside), Vuot Qua Thu Thach (Overcoming Challenges) and Manh Hon Cong Ly (Stronger than Justice).

The prize-awarding ceremony will be held in Hanoi on March 18.
