An ancient seal dating back to a period between the late 18th century and the early 19th century was discovered at the Van Loc Temple relics in My Loc district of northern Nam Dinh province, said Director of the Provincial Museum Nguyen Van Thu on June 9.
The seal was used for just worshipping, not for administrative tasks of the Tran royal dynasty. It was made of wood, red - lacquered and trimmed with gold. It has a rectangular surface, which is 13.9cm long and 13.6cm wide and 3 cm thick and has four engraved Chinese characters.
