Vietnamese thu phap (calligraphy) has been introduced at a special exhibition held recently in Berlin, Germany, attracting great interest and appreciation from local art lovers.

The event, organised for Agent Orange victims by Vinaphunu – a popular club for Vietnamese women in Berlin – featured 60 works of calligraphy on paper and bamboo, most of which were sold for prices ranging from US$7 to US$140 each.

Visitors to the exhibition had a good opportunity to understand more about Vietnam and its people.

Since the club’s establishment in Berlin in 1991, Vinaphunu has engaged in many charity and community activities, such as providing free consulting services and training programmes in Vietnamese and German languages for Vietnamese nationals and their families in Berlin.
