Festival organisers said a diverse range of cultural activities will be held during the four-day festival to boast the history, landscapes and distinctive cultural features of Hai Phong city and Do Son town in particular.

In addition to sport activities such as motorboat racing, wind surfing, parachuting and beach volleyball, local and foreign visitors will have the chance to enjoy the exciting atmosphere and riveting performances of buffaloes when the preliminary round of the traditional buffalo fighting competition kicks off at the Do Son Stadium. 

The visitors will also have the chance to take bikes on a tour of countryside landscapes in Kien Thuy district and a hot mineral spring in Tien Lang district.

On this occasion, the organisers unveiled and put into operation a number of big projects such as “the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea” Monument, the Hai Phong-Ma Cao direct air route and the four-star Do Son Resort Hotel.
