A special programme was held at the Hanoi women and development centre on August 19 to honour 98 excellent graduates from universities, colleges and academies in Hanoi. Their names were put on the “golden book” of the Communist Youth Union chapter in Hanoi.

The students include those who scored the highest marks in the graduation exams this year, overcame difficulties in daily life to win great awards in national and international competitions, and had initiatives in science and technology application and national construction and defence.

Similar programmes to honour excellent graduates are also taking place in the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho from August 19 – 21.
