Top Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has moved down a notch to 11th position in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings.
This is mainly due to his loss in the third round of the Asian Badminton Championships in China earlier this month to gain only 54,204 points, 560 less than China’s Du Pengyu, who has replaced him in the top ten.
Minh is scheduled to attend the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold from May 1-6, where he is seeded No. 2 and is expected to face world No. 1 and host player Lee Chong Wei in the final match.
