Tien Minh enters US Open third round
(VOV) - Top Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh on July 10 defeated host player Calvin Lin 2-0 in the second round of the US Open Badminton Championship.
With his easy wins in the two rounds, Minh is now a lot more self-confident to meet world-seeded No36 Tan Chun Seang from Malaysia in the third round.

Another Vietnamese player in the women's competition, Vu Thi Trang also trounced American Christine Yang 2-0 in the first round and will meet Salakjit Ponsana from Thailand in the second round.
