Thu Thao bags ASIAD silver medal in long jump
(VOV) -Vietnamese track and field star Bui Thi Thu Thao was awarded a silver medal at the ongoing Asian Games (ASIAD 17) in the Republic of Korea on September 29.
Thao secured second position thanks to her outstanding performance of 6m44 in the women’s long jump.

Track and field athlete Duong Van Thai finished 8th in the men’s 1,500m run, after clocking at 3'50"50.
By September 29, Vietnam ranked 18th on the medal tally, including 1 gold, 9 silver, and 20 bronze medals.
