Three Tons of Fun artists have risen to fame, over the last five years as one of Cape Town and South Africa’s most popular female groups.

They first appeared in Thailand in September 2006. Since then, they have traveled to Switzerland, Namibia and all over South Africa.

The three divas of Three Tons of Fun – Michelle Thomas, Bulelwa Cosa and Sth Mfuphi were hand picked from 30 other girls.

Cosa, mezzo soprano, comes from a classical music and theatre background. Thomas, alto, hails from Cape Town and has been involved in numerous musical productions. Mfuphi, alto and mezzo, has a diploma in light jazz, plays keyboards and drums, does musical arrangements, compositions, and is well known on the Cape Town Jazz circuit.

The three-member band will perform modern and traditional music to celebrate South Africa’s 15th Freedom Day at the Melia Hotel, Hanoi at 6.30pm on April 28.
