The contestants were divided into four groups to pose for photographs of “Vietnamese dresses (Ao dai) and Ancient town” at Bridge Pagoda and on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Tran Phu roads known as the most beautiful places in Hoi An.
They were scheduled to be at Nam Hai hotel’s Studio around 8pm the same day. The Miss Photogenic competition will close at My Son, a world culture heritage on August 21.
Those who performed best in the costume, swimsuit and question and answer rounds over the next two weeks will be awarded in the final round on August 31. The crowing ceremony for Miss Vietnam 2008 will be held on a floating stage on the Hoai River.
This year's crown was made of gold worth VND300 million by the PNJ Phu Nhuan Gemstone Jewel Company in Ho Chi Minh City.
