The week-long event aims to select the four best players to compete with the top eight players in the country in two groups in a round robin format. The two winners of each group will enter the semi-finals.

The eight top players selected from the 2011 national tennis championships include Do Minh Quan, Ngo Quang Huy, Le Quoc Khanh, Ho Huynh Dan Mach, Huynh Phuong Dai Trang, Tran Lan Anh, Tran Thi Hao Tam, and Phan Thi Thanh Binh.

The winner of the tournament for men will be awarded VND30 million in cash, while the first and second runners-up will receive VND15 million and VND8 million, respectively. In the women’s event, the winner will pocket VND25 million, and the first and second runners-up will get VND13 million and VND7 million, respectively.
