The tournament includes three competitions: for professionals, semi-professionals and amateurs. The total prize money is VND283 million.

The professional section will have three events-men’s and women’s singles and men’s doubles. This section has attracted the participation of 41 men and eight women.

Some notable faces among the male contestants are Do Minh Quan, Ngo Quang Huy and Le Quoc Khanh, while Huynh Phuong Dai Trang, Tran Thi Tam Hao and Tran Lam Anh are among the better known female players.
