The 26th Spring Flower Festival opened in HCM City’s Tao Dan Park on January 24, drawing the participation of 800 Vietnamese and foreign artisans who are displaying more than 4,000 objects for sale and competition.
The festival introduces many strange trees such as a 100-year-old thistle, a six m-high apricot tree and other rare and precious plants. Apart from the flower festival, a good dog competition will also be held to select the 30 best dogs for the final on the fourth day of the lunar January.
The festival will last until February 5.
