A special music programme in celebration of South Vietnam Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1) will take place at 8pm in the Hanoi Opera House and will be broadcast live on the Hanoi Radio and Television Station during these two days.
The programme is co-organised by the Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theatre and the HAFI Communication Co. Ltd., a branch of the Hanoi Financial Investment Joint Stock Company.
People’s artists Trung Kien, Tuong Vi, Thu Hien, Thanh Hoa, Tran Hieu and Quang Tho will present immortal songs, reviving the magnanimous atmosphere of the Vietnamese nation in the times of war.
With the consent of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation will record it for future broadcast in Japan.
The performances will also be issued as a CD and will be rebroadcast on national and local television stations.
