SHB Danang makes good start at 2013 AFC Cup
(VOV) -Vietnam’s defending champion football team SHB Danang defeated Myanmar’s Ayeyewady United 2-1 in the first match of the 2013 AFC Cup on February 27.
The host missed many chances to break through Ayeyewady United’s solid defending system in the first half.
Then in the 43rd minute defender Sabin Cosmin opened the scoring for SHB Danang with his powerful header.
In the second half SHB Danang increased pressure on its rival and in the 56th minute striker Gaston Merlo hammered home another goal.
Ayeyewady United substitution Nay Lin Tun finally then narrowed the gap to 1-2 in the 89th minute.
