Filmmakers from the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam and Vietnamese students are participating in a seminar on developing cinematography in Vietnam and Asia which is taking place in Hanoi on January 9-10.
Stage director of the film “The King and the Clown”, Lee Joonik, and organizer of the Pusan International Film Festival, Kim Ji-seok, both from the Republic of Korea, are attending the event along with CEO of the Cambodian Film Commission, Cedric Eloy.
The Vietnamese Cinematography Department also invited foreign filmmakers to visit and propose some ideas about the Co Loa Relics.
The seminar provides an opportunity for filmmakers and managers in Vietnam to present the country’s development, hear ideas from foreign filmmakers and learn about the Asian cinematography network to develop the industry in Vietnam and advertise tourism.
