SEA futsal tourney: Vietnam 3-4 Australia
(VOV) -Vietnam disqualified from the 2014 Southeast Futsal Tournament final after losing 3-4 to Australia in their semi-final match in Malaysia on September 25.
In a clash with stronger Australians, coach Bruno Garcia Formosa asked his men to use an offensive tactic at the beginning to seek an advantage.

His players’ efforts were awarded with Trong Luan’s goal on 7 minutes, giving Vietnam the lead.
However, they could not widen the gap, letting Basger of Australia level the score two minutes later.
Both teams scored two goals each after 90 minutes, forcing them to play extra time.
Gograty struck a decisive shot in the extra time, earning Australia a berth to the final match.
Vietnam will take on Indonesia in a play-off match for third place, while Australia will meet Thailand in the final.
