The final round of the 2006 Sea Beauty Contest Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be held on the evening of April 12 in the southern city of Vung Tau. More than 100 girls have enrolled in the event and many of them have secured prizes from previous beauty contests.
No more irregularities regarding awards will occur in the contest, according to the organising board of the contest. Finalists will receive all gifts and such things as mementos and certificates without any deduction from the announced prize money. Rewards include VND35 million for Miss Sea, VND35 million and 25 million for the second-best and third-best, respectively.
