An opening ceremony for Russian Cultural Days in Vietnam was held at the Hanoi Opera House on November 15, to commemorate 60 years of diplomatic ties between Russia and Vietnam and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The event aims to strengthen and further the traditional cooperation and tighten the partnership between the two countries.
Addressing the ceremony, Hoang Tuan Anh, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that through this event, audiences in Vietnam will have the chance to enjoy the various cultures of Russia.
During the week-long event, 75 Russian artists will bring special performances to Vietnam, in addition to a Russian film week and an exhibition.
Russian Cultural Days will take place in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City from November 14-22.
