Many famous RoK and Vietnamese artists will take part in the event, including Lee Young Ah - one of the top ten outstanding artists in 2007 selected by SBS television, Lim Soon Rye - one of the most talented film directors in the RoK, Bada - a famous RoK pop singer, Ho Quynh Huong who will represent Vietnam and sing at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games Beijing and Ngo Thanh Van who was voted “most outstanding actress” in the film “The Rebel” at the 15^th Vietnam film festival.

Vietnamese audiences will also have the opportunity to meet Kim Choung - the leading performer of the Korean art of Arirang Byungum, which will be shown in Vietnam for the first time.

Many films with subtitles in Vietnamese and English will be screened at the National Convention Centre, Hanoi.

The RoK embassy will also present 550 tickets for the film “Marathon” to children living in compassionate houses in Hanoi. 

The festival is part of activities to mark the 16^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the RoK.
