An internationally acclaimed break-dance band B-boy Gambler and a traditional art troupe from the Republic of Korea (RoK) are performing in Ho Chi Minh City on December 5-6, moving on to Hanoi three days later.

The performances aim to welcome the RoK-Vietnam Friendship Week which will take place from December 6-16 in order to promote cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.

With the participation of B-boy Gambler, which won the first prize at the World Break-dance Festival in Germany in 2004, the performances are expected to show the harmonious combination of traditional and modern music from the RoK.

Local audiences will have a chance to enjoy pieces of music and traditional dances from the RoK, including Nongak-nori (musical games), Janggu-chum (drum dance), Ganggangsullae (dance in circles) and Buche-chum (fan dance).
