The opening ceremony will showcase various traditional art performances by artists from Hoi An, My Son, Hue and Tay Nguyen (Vietnam), as well as art troupes from Siem Reap (Cambodia), as well as Champassac and Louangphrabang (Laos). Other programmes include village festivals, boat racing and a pedicab march.
The closing ceremony of the festival will be held at Cu Lao Cham (Cham Island) docks with a special programme called “Cu Lao Cham-Khong gian truyen thuyet” (Cu Lao Cham-Mythical space), depicting the cultural history of the island – the national heritage site in the East Sea.
