An exhibition of posters by two painters Duong Anh and Minh Phuong opened on August 25 to mark the 63rd anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
On show are more than 100 works by both painters touched five main themes in praise of the Communist Party, Government and former State President Ho Chi Minh, friendship solidarity and international cooperation, the cause of resistance war and national defence, economic construction and development of culture, education, public health and society.
Of these, 12 posters were awarded at the previous national fine arts exhibitions in 1980, 1985, 1987 and 1990.
The event was co-organised by Vietnam Fine Art Association and the National Revolution Museum.
