From an amateur artist in the style of hip-hop and swing in the 70s and mixtapes in the 2000s, Eric Legnini has become one of the most talented Jazz pianist in the world.
Born in 1970 in Italy, he started playing piano when he was 6 years old. At 18, he left for America and was influenced by the style of famous artist Herbie Hancock.
After a training course in New York run by Richie Beirach, he performed with well-known artists including Serge Reggiani, Henri Salvador and Claude Nougaro.
Eric Legnini owned recordings of respectable quality such as Essentiels (1990), Antraigues (1993), Rhythm Sphere (1995), Miss Soul (2005), Big Booggaloo (2007), Trippin (2009), Ballads (2010) and The Vox (2011).
