The festival, the first of its kind in the region, is a big cultural event, aiming to honour the traditional cultural values of ethnic minority groups in the central and south-eastern region.

The festival, which attracts the participation of 13 regional provinces and cities, will features a series of activities, including art performances, costume performances, folk games, and food arts.

During the festival, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will present the cultural values of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, while the organising board will hold a seminar on promoting traditional cultural values and eradicating backward customs.
