More than 100 photos by two Italian artists featuring the charms and the daily life of ordinary Vietnamese as well as the cultural heritages of Vietnam have been displayed at a photo and ceramics exhibition at the National Museum of Palazzo Venezia in Rome from April 20.

The exhibition titled "The Mystery and Realism of the Orient: Laos and Vietnam" was jointly organized by the Ducci Fund, the Italian Institute for African and Oriental Studies and the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy.

The exhibited works by Di Paolo Ducci and Bernhardt Trout are rich with admiration and esteem for the Vietnamese land and people as well as their profoundly artistic feelings.

"Vietnam gives a strong impression with its fervent people and wonderful nature," Ducci, a photographer and a diplomat, said, adding that he "loves Vietnamese historical and cultural sites such as Cham towers and the Ancient Capital of Hue."
