More than 50 works of art four young Vietnamese photographers are being displayed at a photo exhibition in Rome, which opened on June 12 to feature the everyday life, fashion and beautiful landscape of Vietnam.

The photographers are Long Thanh, Hoang Xuan Lam, Duong Minh Long and Nguyen Hai.

The exhibition, part of the second Vietnam Cultural Festival in Italy, aims to introduce images of Vietnam’s rich cultural identity in its international integration process, and to promote mutual understanding and positive relationships between the two countries.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, president of Roma province Enrico Gasbarra highly praised the photos displayed at the exhibition, saying that these works of art depict the tradition, the past, the presence and the future of Vietnam – a developing country that is still upholding its historical and cultural traditions.

The exhibition will last until July 15.
