More 50 large-sized color photos are being displayed at an exhibition in Berlin, Germany, featuring Vietnam’s people and land, as well as cultural festivals and infrastructure development in the country.

The exhibition opened in the German capital’s Lichtenberg district on October 20 to showcase photos of Vietnam taken by two Vietnamese photographers Vu Quang Chi and Pham Manh Cuong.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the head of Lichtenberg district, Christina Emmrich, said that the exhibition aims to help German friends get a better understanding of Vietnamese people and land. She also pledged to create good conditions for Vietnamese people to stabilise their lives in the Lichtenberg district.

Photographers Vu Quang Chi and Pham Manh Cuong are currently residing in Germany and part of a photo club of Overseas Vietnamese people in Berlin. The exhibited photos were taken during their visits to the homeland.
