Around 85 photos of local people living in different parts of Vietnam have been displayed at a photo exhibition on globalization which opened in Hanoi on October 17 in response to International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (October 17).

The exhibition was co-organised by Le Ngoc Son and Ngo Xuan Phu, both members of ActionAids’ Anti-poverty Journalists’ Network.

The photos show the strong impacts of globalization on people’s lives, especially the gap between rich and poor.

Le Ngoc Son hoped that viewers would do something for the poor in the hope of bringing prosperity to every person.

The exhibition will run till October 22.
