Professional and amateur Vietnamese or foreign photographers who live in Vietnam are encouraged to enter the contest between now and August 30, 2010.

The focus is on the beauty and variety in the life and culture of Hanoians as well as cultural and architectural works and traditional festivals throughout the city.

Their photos can be sent to the organizing board at 71 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hanoi, or through the website www.khoanhkhacthanglong.vn. They must neither be printed on newspapers nor win prizes at other photo contests.

The winner of the contest will be awarded 20 million VND in money prize. Entries will then be displayed at an exhibition at 29 Hang Bai street in Hanoi from Oct. 2-7.
