The golden kite prize was presented to the film “Khi phach anh hung” (heroic spirit) produced by the Vinh Long film studio, the science documentary “Khong khi va su song” (air and life) and the documentary “Nguoi ban tham lang cua Bac” (Uncle’s silent friend) from the Central Documentary film studio, and part two of the TV serial “Chay an” (Bribe in Crime) by VTV Studios. However, no cartoons or features won any of the prestigious prizes.

The film “Cu va Chim Se Se” (The Owl and The Sparrow), which took the “best film” award was jointly produced by the local Anh Phuong studios and the overseas film maker, Anna.

The best actor award went to Dartin Tri Nguyen, while famous artist Pham Thi Hong Anh took the best actress title.

“Chuyen Tinh Xa Xu” (Passport to Love) was voted by audiences as best film, while “Cu va Chim Se Se” received the press prize.
