Nearly 200 photographs and documents of late President Ho Chi Minh’s life and work are on display at an exhibition in Paris, France.

The event is co-organized by the Vietnamese People’s Association in France (Union Générale des Vietnamiens de France - UGVF), the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Vietnamese Culture Centre in France.

The exhibition features the life and work of President Ho on his journey to save the nation and lay the foundation for friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and France.

Vietnamese ambassador to France, Duong Chi Dung, highlighted the significance of the event, saying it is part of the activities to mark the 100th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh’s initial visit to France in 1911 and the 65th anniversary of his first visit to the country as a State leader in 1946.

UGVF president Therese Nguyen Van Ky said Vietnamese people in France hold great respect for President Ho and she spoke about Uncle Ho’s teachings on friendship, solidarity and contributing to the homeland.
