An exhibition of Vietnamese paintings collected by G. Ponsanh has opened at the University of Liege in Belgium and will last until July 10.

After graduating from the law faculty of the University of Liege in 1972, Ponsanh worked at the Belgian embassy in Hanoi, where he became very fond of Vietnamese paintings.

He researched and collected many Vietnamese works of art from 1965 to 1985.

The exhibition showcases 140 pictures by famous Vietnamese painters such as Bui Xuan Phai, Pham Van Mui, Pham Van Don, Nguyen Tu Nghiem, Tran Van Can and Nguyen Tien Chung.

His collection was donated to the University of Liege.
