More than 30,000 people took part in the annual ox-racing event at Ta Miet Pagoda in Tri Ton District, An Giang province on September 23.
The 15th annual ox-racing event was organised to celebrate the ethnic Khmer's traditional Don Ta festival in the Mekong Delta.
This year's event featured 70 pairs of oxen, doubling last year's figure.
The first prize for two separate races went to Tran Van Sau, a resident of Chau Thanh District, and Tran Van Tan of Tinh Bien District.
The competitors hailed from Tri Ton, Tinh Bien, Chau Thanh, Thoai Son and Chau Phu districts in An Giang province and Hon Dat district in Kien Giang province.
