Eight outstanding and four groups of students from Hanoi University of Science (HUS) of the Vietnam National University (VNU), who were awarded in the 2006-07 academic year, received their scholarships at a ceremony on February 27.
The VND13 million scholarships were sponsored by a group of former students and staff from the University of Hanoi, now known as VNU, living in Poland.
Addressing the ceremony, HUS’s principle Nguyen Van Mau affirmed that the educational cooperation and exchange between the two countries will be further strengthened as the overseas Vietnamese group was committed to granting more scholarships and creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese students to study and work in Poland.
