An exhibition entitled "Light and Pen" opened in HCM City on the evening of April 6 to display 12 white and black photos taken by Daniel Hung, an overseas Vietnamese from France.
The 12 photos are among 5000 photos that Daniel intends to introduce in a pictorial book.
Mr Hung’s photos have inspired Thomas Bronnec, a French writer living in Vietnam, to write stories on Vietnam’s land and people.
Born in Phnom Penh, Mr Hung is a combination of Cambodian and Vietnamese blood. He later lived in Paris and graduated from Paris Fine Arts College in 1988, and has been living in HCM City for more than 10 years.
